| | Welcome to the 2007/08 School year... The PTFA is made up of parents, teachers and friends of the Gaer Infant school. Its main role is to organise social events and raise funds that are used to enhance each child's experience and education. New members are actively being sought from amongst parents and staff. If you feel that you can spare a couple of hours every half term and would like to be involved in things like:
Organising events.
Helping at events.
Drafting newsletters.
Keeping the web site up to date.
Spending a morning or afternoon in school getting things ready for a fundraiser. Then please get in touch with any member of the PTFA or with the school office. We are especially keen this year to build some shelves in the large blue steel shed that is situated in the reception garden. It's a fabulous shed that can store lots of outdoor play equipment, but it's a bit hazerdous in there at times with so much equipment, and shelves would not only makes it safer but would also allow us to store more thing. |
