Our Trip to Noah's Ark Zoo Farm
March 11th 2008
by A Haywood

We all had a fantastic time when we went to Noah's Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol!

alligators

rhinos

We saw two baby alligators.

And a chameleon......we had to look very carefully to see it beacuse it was camouflaged.

We were all very excited about seeing the rhinos! At first we thought they weren't there.....but they were only hiding indoors!

 camels

We went into the chicken coop....but we had to walk slowly so that we didn't scare the chickens!

And we saw some very inquisitive meerkats.

The camels came over to say "Hello!"

 zebras

We could touch some of the animals....but we had to wash our hands afterwards.

The zebras were in the African section of the Farm.

So was the giraffe. He was the only giraffe on the farm and he was called Gerald.

We also had a workshop where we learnt a lot about the rainforest. We had to work in groups to sort animals that lived in the rainforest and those that didn't.

We held a real snakeskin.....it felt like paper.

And we even saw the skin of a tarantula......you could still see where the fangs had been!

We had so much fun and we learnt a lot on our trip! We would all love to go again.
